Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to work within an Adoption and Permanency Team for a Local Authority based in South London.

Job Purpose

The Adoption and Permanence Team is responsible for the recruitment, training and assessment of prospective adopters, family finding for the boroughs children who have a plan for adoption and for the assessment and provision of adoption support needs and services for those affected by adoption. The Team also assesses Regulation 24 foster carers (connected persons) and provides special guardianship assessments to the court. The team benefits from the work of two designated post adoption and post special guardianship support workers.

• Experience of working in an Adoption or Fostering Team is essential
• HCPC registration
• Enhanced DBS
• Full compliance required
