Remedy Education are currently supporting an Alternative Provision in the Bromley area to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their school starting ASAP.
They are seeking an individual who is resilient, sporty, artistic and possesses an interest in extra-curricular activities.
The provision offers a high-quality education for pupils with a wide variety of special needs, SEBD, Autism, ODD and ADHD.
Their focus is to increase learner's self-esteem and self-worth to encourage them to achieve. Working to a varied, interactive curriculum, the successful applicant will be calm and adaptable to an always changing routine.
The role will include working in classrooms, supporting the class teachers to deliver learning and addressing the needs of pupils who require assistant and guidance with their behaviour management to overcome barriers to learning. It will also involve working with individual pupils to raise awareness of appropriate behaviours and responses; implementing one to one intervention arrangements with pupils; providing support for distressed and/or challenging pupils and working on intervention programmes with individual pupils or groups.
This role is starting ASAP, on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity for the right applicant to secure a permanent contract.

- Be creative and passionate about meeting the needs of all children
- Have the ability to form positive relationships
- Be well organised and enthusiastic
- Have a good level of Maths and English
