Project Manager.

Remedy Recruitment are currently working with the local authority in London and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to work within a busy, fast paced and exciting environment, paying at excellent rates.

**SALARY- £400 Daily **

** FULL TIME**

**START- ASAP**

Job Purpose-

To undertake the planning, management, co-ordination and financial control of the project, ensuring that the project objectives are met, the project is completed on time and within budget and that project team members complete allocated actives. To prepare and update project documentation, including plans and risk logs, ensuring an appropriate communication and engagement plan is place.
To identify required resources and co-ordinate the activities of various professional people, including sub-contractors, working on the project to ensure these are completed on time and monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained. To provide regular updates on progress and keep a track of the project budget.

Main Duties and Responsibilities-

  • Agreeing project objectives
  • Representing the client's or organisation's interests
  • Providing advice on the management of projects
  • Organising the various professional people working on a project
  • Carrying out risk assessment
  • Making sure that all the aims of the project are met
  • Making sure the quality standards are met
  • Using IT or other systems to keep track of people and progress
  • Recruiting specialists and sub-contractors
  • Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
  • Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing
  • Reporting to the client or senior stakeholders on progress
  • Evaluating the success of the project against its bench marking and sharing lessons or best practice with other organisations or project managers.

The successful candidate will require the following-

  • Minimum 2 year's experience within Housing
  • Organisational skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Numeracy skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Communication skills
  • Team working skills
  • Diplomacy
  • Ability to motivate people
