About you

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Social Work Qualification not essential but desirable
• Experience within a CWD team
• Rate Negotiable depending on experience

Job Description

• To work with Area Team Manager and Head of Service to design and implement team policies and procedures required to further develop the 0-25 social work team.
• Generation of, or contributing to, business cases for developments, in order to ensure that only those of clear benefit proceed.
• Supporting and facilitating the work of the Area team Manager and Head of Service in order to maximise the likelihood of the successful delivery of the development of the team.
• Ensuring that projects have clear definition to ensure that work is neither overlooked nor duplicated.
• Directing, motivating and task management of all assigned project resources in order to maximise the contribution of staff and key stakeholders including external agencies, statutory, voluntary and independent sector partners and children and young people and their families.
• Ensure the appropriate production of project documentation: project plans, specifications, highlight and exception reports in order to ensure that time and funding are well used.
• Prepare Highlight Reports, and other relevant documentation, for delivery to the senior management teams and Members Boards/committees in order that they understand progress and are clear on any actions they are required to take in support of the initiative.
• Ensure that communication is undertaken with all key stakeholders in an effective and efficient manner across the local area.
