Job description

My client is a friendly and supportive primary school based in the borough of Croydon.They are looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a reception student on the Autistic Spectrum on 1:1 basis. October start

I am currently seeking a strong and energetic Teaching Assistant with experience supporting SEN. The ideal candidate will have worked with ASD and a keen interest in supporting in and out of the classroom and promote learning.

You will have primary experience, but the applicant will be selected for this role based on attitude as well as proven experience.

The school is keen to find a Teaching Assistant who will fit into the hard working ethos of the school. You will need to be committed and looking for a stable, long-term post. You will also need to have a calm and patient manner with a passion for encouraging students to achieve the best of their ability

Requirements

  • Available from October 2019
  • Proven SEN experience
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Commitment to ongoing post
