About the Primary Teaching Assistant role

In this Primary Teaching Assistant position, you will be supporting a specific class based on your interests and previous experience. You will be assisting learning and development across the school and working with pupils on a 1:1 and group basis, delivering targeted intervention to those who need additional support. As your skills and confidence increases, you will be given the opportunity to plan and deliver your own lesson, showing off your skill set to the Headteacher who is keen to offer salaried Teacher Training opportunities to those who excel in this role.
