Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Person Specification:
The successful Primary SEN Teaching Assistant will be a nurturing graduate who has gained some school-based experience and has a minimum of a 2:2 in their degree. The school want to recruit a graduate who has a passion for SEN and has a caring approach to inspire their students to achieve the best they can. As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the drive to welcome responsibility and build strong lasting relationships quickly.

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, a large part of your role will involve you supporting the social and academic development a specific Year 4 girl who needs individual support with communication, Speech and Language. Your responsibility's will also include running group intervention classes and offering 1:1 support when needed. You will work alongside the friendly SENCO to support students with SEN who are struggling with core subjects and ensure a smooth delivery of each pupils EHCP.
