Primary Teacher Positions - EYFS / KS1 Specialism - September 2018
Remedy Education is recruiting committed, passionate Primary qualified Teachers for an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Primary Academies located in Southwark, South East London. The school offers a safe, happy and purposeful learning environment where students are inspired to push boundaries and achieve. The successful candidate will be a 'Good' practitioner who has ideally worked in EYFS and/or KS1 previously. The school also welcome applications from NQTs that are looking to kick start their teaching career and complete their Induction period.
Teacher Responsibilities and Duties
- Classroom and behaviour management in line with the school policy
- Prepare resources, plan good-outstanding lessons in line with national curriculum
- Complete assessments and student reports to liaise with parents and other members of staff based on performance
- Inspire and motive children
- Be a good communicator with proven interpersonal and people skills
- Have proven experience in contributing and improving the standards of learning
- Lead by example and maintain high quality of teaching
- Manage classroom behaviours in line with the schools policies
- Help to support and prepare children of all abilities to achieve
Teacher Qualifications and Skills
- Hold a PGCE or Bachelor of Education specialising in Primary Education
- Hold Qualified Teachers Status (QTS) and ideally have completed your Induction
- We will consider applications from Overseas trained Teachers who have good knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
- We also welcome applicants who are newly qualified wishing to join a nurturing setting for their NQT year
- Have strong command of English and be able to successfully support any students with EAL and/or SEN needs
- Have the right to work in UK and be able to provide relevant documentation
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process on in line with safer recruitment procedures
- Clear communicator with a passion to lead the year group to success
