A 'Good' graded Primary School in the Borough of Lewisham are looking to appoint a Primary SENCO for January 2020 start. This is a long term, and full-time post via the Primary School.

The previous SENCO decided she wanted a new challenge and has moved on. She has left a fantastic framework in place for the next person to come in and hit the ground running.

You will be carrying out normal Primary SENCO duties, including working through EHCPS, 1:1 Assessments of the children and assisting the admin side of the role. You will not be in a classroom at all. You will get the opportunity to carry out 1:1 sessions and small groups.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

· Qualified Primary SENCO required!

· Experience working as a SENCO / Inclusion Leader is a must!

· Excellent understanding of the SEN Code of Practice & Primary Curriculum

· Ability to communicate well & excellent management skills

· Down to earth, passionate & empathetic individual
