  • Long term to permanent position
  • Full time - Monday to Friday - 8.30am-3.30-4.00pm
  • Based in North London, Camden

A great opportunity has opened up for a strong and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for an ASD specialist school in Camden

Iam looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant that have supported SEN students in small groups and 1-1. My School is looking for a talented and committed individual that is looking to advance their skill sets.

You will be working within the classroom working along side the classroom teacher with the daily learning.


Teaching Assistant Specification:
The successful Teaching Assistant will be flexible, dynamic and dedicated people with experience of, or an interest in working with children with additional educational needs. You will have the desire to get involved in all elements of school life, from the successful sports teams to the creative arts clubs. The Teaching Assistant must show the ability to display an eagerness for teaching by consistently being enthusiastic about the day ahead.

About the Teaching Assistant Role:
In this Teaching Assistant position, you will have a varied role, which involves supporting the teacher in all aspects of planning lessons in and out of the classroom, helping to prepare materials and resources, and working together with the teacher to ensure that children receive the most effective support. You will be able to demonstrate a practical, hands on approach to supporting teaching. An NVQ2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications/experience is essential, previous experience of working with pupils with ASD is preferential.
