PMLD Teaching Assistants - Balham South East London

Remedy are currently working closely with an SEN provision based Lambeth, South East London. The unit caters for a variety of different SEN, ranging from global delay to PMLD.

The ideal candidate:

• Experience with working with people with SLD/PMLD (Ideally with children)
• A patient, caring and adaptable manner to deal with SEN pupils in an education setting
• Qualifications such as Team Teach are an advantage
• Must be comfortable with personal care and feeding

Classes at the school are very small with students with very low complex needs, so the role wont be to challenging.

You will be supporting the students with a teacher and on a 1:1 basis.

This role is to start ASAP on a long term bases until the end of the academic year.
