A challenging yet rewarding teaching assistant role has just become available in a lively school in the borough of Greenwich

We are looking for a teaching assistant with PMLD experience to start on a long term basis ASAP.

This is a minimum of a 1 year position, potentially can become permanent.

This is a special school that caters to students in KS3-5. The school only have a maximum of 5 students in a class in order to give the pupils plenty of attention.

It is imperative that you have a positive personality to support the school, as well as, being patient with the children as they may require a vast amount of support. The successful candidate would be expected to have a background working with children with PMLD students

Skills/Experiences

• Manual handling
• Personal care
• Alternative communication skills
• Experience working with PMLD

You will be assisting with activities in the hydrotherapy pool, the sensory room and also outdoor.
