Remedy Education is recruiting for an SEN Teacher / SEND Teacher / Special Needs Teacher / Special Educational Needs Teacher to work at small independent primary special school in Greenwich. This is an 'Outstanding' school run by a passionate and supportive senior leadership team. The successful SEN Teacher / SEND Teacher / Special Needs Teacher / Special Educational Needs Teacher will be teaching a small class of primary-aged pupils with a range of needs including ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), SpLD (Specific Learning Difficulties), and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). The ideal candidate will have experience teaching primary curriculum and will have previously worked with students with additional needs. This role is to start in September 2019 on a temporary basis initially with the possibility of a long-term contract for the right candidate.

  • Daily rate starting from £130 - £180 dependent on experience

In order to be considered for this role, the SEN Teacher / SEND Teacher / Special Needs Teacher / Special Educational Needs Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Suitable for NQTs and O/S candidates
  • Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum
  • Previous experience with SEN students
  • Previous experience working with students in early years
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
