Planning Enforcement Officer

£40-£50ph

An experienced planner is required to manage a large and complex enforcement case involving Travelling Show people. Candidates must have the following:

UK planning qualification and MRTPI accredited;

Experience and proven track record in local authority development management work including planning enforcement;

Excellent communication skills, diplomacy and time management;

Thorough understanding of UK planning legislation;

Understanding of the interdependencies between Local Authority corporate strategies in Housing;

Proven track record in handling high profile enforcement cases;

Ability to work as an individual and as part of a large team;

Access to own vehicle and clean UK driving license;

Microsoft proficient;

Good written skills (Including compiling reports for Committees / Cabinet / Member Briefings).
