Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Personal Advisor to work within a Leaving Care Team for a Local Authority based in South East London.

Job Details

To work closely with the practice group to support and enable young people who are currently in care and those who have left care and are eligible for leaving care services to make a successful transition to adulthood through practical and planned interventions.

Personal Specification

1. Knowledge of the health, education, training and work experience needs of young people and how these can be met

2. An understanding of the needs of children looked after, and care leavers.

3. Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory framework relating to children, young people and families, particularly leaving care regulations.

4. Knowledge and understanding of the problems and issues faced by people living in an inner city, multi-racial/cultural community
