PE Teacher - January Start - East London

An Outstanding Secondary School based in East London, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate PE Teacher to start in January.

They aim to deliver a wide variety of activities that celebrates and encourages young people to do their best and to develop their skills and knowledge towards a philosophy of life long physical activity. The department are exceptionally supportive and work very closely together to ensure that all students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities that take place through lunch breaks and after school. With varying levels of experience within the department, both experienced PE and Newly Qualified (NQT) PE Teachers are welcomed to apply for this post.

The successful candidate will be required to teach the following:

• Teach KS3 - football, trampolining, basketball, netball, fitness, and handball
• GCSE PE - supporting students in both Year 10 and Year 11

Role

You will also need to assist with extra-curricular activities that are run throughout the term, as well as attending fixtures/competitions after school

To be considered for this PE Teacher role you must have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• PGCE in PE
• Experience teaching PE KS3 and KS4
