Part time EYFS Teaching Assistant

Are you a EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a new role ASAP?

Part time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am until 1pm

Do you have experience working with children that have Special Education Needs (SEN)?

Information about the role

I am working with a mainstream Primary School in Southwark who are seeking to appoint an EYFS Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. This opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children that have SEN such as Autism and want to make an impact on the children's lives.

If you're proactive, willing to learn and have EYFS/Education experience, this could be a job for you.

This EYFS Teaching Assistant role includes 1:1 responsibility, and you will be reporting to the Class Teacher/SENCO.

You will be:

  • Working 1:1 and within the class with a child that has SEN needs.
  • Working Monday to Friday 8.30am until 1pm
  • SEN include ASD/ADHD.
  • You will also be working alongside class teacher.

EYFS Teaching Assistant - Additional information

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Pay: £10 -£12 per hour (depending upon experience)
  • Contractual Hours: Part time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am until 1pm
  • EYFS Teaching Assistant will be supported by the class teacher

EYFS Teaching Assistant - you must have:

  • EYFS experience
  • Primary School Experience
  • Supported children with SEN
  • A willingness to learn
