Outreach Teacher, English - Barnet, North West London - ASAP Start

My outstanding client a pupil referral unit located in Barnet are looking for an English Outreach Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.

Our client provides Outreach support to secondary and primary aged children with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). The Outreach Teacher in addition to supporting the children and staff will also liaise with outside agencies, provide support to practitioners in mainstream schools and work with parents.

English Outreach Teacher:

Prepare and deliver training and support to school staff
Experienced English Teacher
Reduce challenging behaviour
Confident in teaching KS3 and KS4 English, GCSE English and Functional Skills Level 1 and 2
ASAP start
Based in Barnet
Salary Awarded: Main Scale / Upper Pay Scale (+SEN)

English Outreach Teacher Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (essential)
Confident in teaching KS3 and KS4 English, GCSE English and Functional Skills Level 1 and 2
Additional recognised SEN qualification (desirable)
The skills to help school staff to develop their capacity to support children with SEMH needs
The ability to plan, organise, and deliver effective training
The ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
