Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant to work within a Local Authority based in South West London.

Job Purpose

• An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to assist a fast paced Access Team. Intervention is short term to meet basic needs to enable people with a diverse range of physical disabilities to remain as independent as possible within their own homes.
• You will provide functional assessments of needs, including environmental assessments, highlight where we can reduce or delay needs through information/advice or provision of equipment/adaptations, identify eligible needs, and address outcomes to promote well-being in accordance with the Care Act 2014.
• This is a busy team with a fast throughput of work, therefore excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently and to manage your own caseload is essential.
• Significant experience in equipment and minor adaptation assessment and provision is essential.
• Experience with Mosiac and TCES is desirable.

• Experience as an OTA is essential
• Full compliance required
• Enhanced DBS
