A Moving and Handling Risk Assessor is required to carry out assessment of clients who have been discharged from the hospital into the community, or are living in the community and require a review of their needs.

The Assessor will be reviewing the moving and handling task and the number of people required to carry out the handling instructions.

Experience of moving and handling assessment is required, along with a good working knowledge of equipment (eg transfer aids, hoists).
