Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a Local Authority based in South East London.

Job Purpose

We are looking for occupational therapists with sound experience in adult social care setting. Role is in multi disciplinary team and successful OT is working alongside Social Workers and Assistant Practitioners. The team completes assessment and intervention within 6 weeks and where intervention from case management team is not appropriate and to reduce immediate risk.

The successful candidate needs to have:

• Excellent moving and handling skills
• Sound knowledge of (special) equipment
• Experience with minor/ major adaptations
• Rehousing assessments and adaptations for wheelchair properties
• Being able to support social workers with increase & decrease of care packages
• The successful OT is required to have very good communication, IT skills and need to be able to work in a fast paced duty environment
