Nottinghamshire, Team Manager, Child Protection Team

Remedy Social Care Team are looking for a Team Manager to join the Child Protection Team to help them achieve their vision for all our children, young people and families.

You will have the capacity and/or the experience of managing people effectively and the ability to lead a team to achieve positive outcomes and ensuring the children that they work with are supported and safeguarded.

You will also be able to demonstrate a breadth of knowledge and experience and ideally have experience of working within the strengths-based practice framework.

Main duties include:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate experienced staff and newly qualified workers to ensure that all children's outcomes are improved and that they are safeguarded effectively, demonstrating your expert practice in complex situations when making decisions and managing higher levels of risk.
  • You will be motivated, committed, and passionate about making a difference to the lives of children, young people and families.
  • You will be able to build effective working relationships, demonstrate strong analytical skills, supervise and appraise your team and ensure all team members have the relevant skills and knowledge to work effectively and efficiently and a robust understanding of the care proceedings process.
  • Work alongside 3 other team managers focusing on the delivery of outstanding services to ensure children and young people are afforded every opportunity to achieve their best possible outcomes.

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England with ASYE complete
  • Social Work Management experience
