Remedy Recruitment Group are looking for a Neighbourhood Housing Officer for a Local Authority in Slough.

Job Purpose

Acting as client on behalf of Neighbourhood Service and tenants regarding the delivery of the annual housing capital and environmental improvements programme within their neighbourhood. The role works in partnership with the Rents sections to assist with the collection of rents and rent arrears. Where necessary, the role will also facilitate in the administration and collection of recharges.

To deliver an excellent housing management and customer focused service that contributes to the achievement of the Council's 5 Year Business Plan and associated policies.

Ensuring that Neighbourhood Services meet resident's expectations and priorities and residents have the opportunity to influence service delivery.

To build relationships with partners including statutory and voluntary organisations to enable residents to receive support in order to maximise sustainability of their tenancy.

To be responsible for the identification, evaluation and management of risk within the neighbourhoods.

To provide a client monitoring function in terms of the services provided by the Caretakers and contractors to the Council.

To provide a proactive tenancy lead approach to building, supporting and maintaining relationships within their area if work.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
