Primary School Music Coordinator - January 2019 start - Long term

Remedy Education are actively looking for a passionate, creative, experienced Primary School Music Teacher that is able to deliver high quality, engaging Music lessons to Key Stage 2 students.

Days: Full time, Monday to Friday

Location: Lambeth

Start date: January 2019

Salary: £120 - £160 per day depending on experience

Remedy Education have fantastic role available at one of our Catholic schools in Lambeth, who are looking for a KS2 music teacher to deliver the music curriculum.

This friendly Catholic Primary school highly values the importance of the music and the arts. Your time would be spent delivering the music curriculum as part of their PPA cover, whilst also leading the choir and music ensembles.

The ideal candidate will be able to deliver inspiring lessons in accordance with National Curriculum requirements to KS2 children. They must also be able to coordinate extra curriculum activities such as choirs and singing assemblies at an excellent standard.

The successful candidate needs to be confident in their ability to teach outstanding lessons, demonstrating enthusiasm and passion at all times. They must be able to have excellent behaviour and classroom management and be able to motivate and inspire children to exceed.

Our teachers are consistent, and are able to 'think outside of the box' whilst also leading the music department at our schools. We pride ourselves in placing autonomous teachers which is why schools choose to partner with us. We will only consider teachers who meet these exact requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • UK primary music teaching experience
  • DBS Clearance
  • Able to engage and inspire at all times
  • A strong classroom management
  • Must be able to integrate in the school community and organise extra curriculum activities and concerts.
