I am currently seeking an experienced Maths Teacher for secondary co-educational special school for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The school is situated in East London and the role is to start after the half term

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status, QTS, desirable
• Maths Teacher
• SEMH/SEBD experience
• A genuine passion for education.
• A non-judgemental and empathetic approach
• Current DBS
• Be available to interview immediately

Teacher Specification:

The successful Maths Teacher will have experience of working with children with challenging behaviour and available to start immediately. You will have the desire to create a culture of learning, where children are happy, enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious. Ensuring that the classroom is a positive and stimulating learning environment.

About the Teaching Role:

In this Maths Teacher position, you will be working with challenging behaviour and therefore be strong and adaptable with your teaching approach. Delivering the Key stage 3 and 4 Curriculum to classes of about 8 - 10 students. Reconnecting them with education so they can make progress in becoming successful adults.
