Maths Teacher - SEMH (PRU) School - Camden - ASAP Start
The School:
My client is looking for a qualified Maths Teacher to work in their special SEMH School and PRU provision working with students with challenging behaviours and additional learning needs in the London Borough of Camden. It is comprised of the three specialist services in Camden that currently provide support for secondary aged children and young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

I am working closely with an SEMH School to find them a Maths teacher who wants to make a difference. As a Maths teacher at this school you will work with relatively small groups, be well supported by a dedicated team of TA's and have real autonomy in the classroom. You will be partly a role model, mentor, Maths Teacher and trusted ear to children that need specific support in this great setting. Standards of education are good, leadership is solidly supportive and the school is considered a fun, creative and safe environment in which to learn.
The Ideal candidate should:
- Have a proven history of teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4 students
- Qualified Maths Teacher
- Have a proven track record of consistently adding value to their students in all the schools they have taught.
- Possess a recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- You will be passionate about education with excellent curriculum knowledge, able to motivate and inspire your pupils.
- All candidates must also hold the Right to Work within the UK in a full time post.
