Male Teaching Assistant, SEMH - North West London

Remedy Education specialise in recruiting Teachers, Teaching Assistants and SEN Support Staff on behalf of Primary, Secondary and SEN Schools throughout North West London and the surrounding areas.

This job requires specialist experience and knowledge in supporting students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) or supporting students with ADHD.

The School is a mainstream secondary school and it has a mission is to provide an outstanding quality of education and care by respecting and empowering every individual and encouraging all our community to be lifelong learners. The teaching team currently at the school are highly skilled and qualified in working with students who have a variety of needs.

This position is available immediately and is a long term role, potentially leading to a permanent position. The School is based in Islington and easily accessible via all major transport links.

Role Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN children (particularly ADSH, Challenging Behaviour and SEMH)
  • Teaching Assistant Qualification or Degree
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Proven record of strong behaviour management
  • DBS
  • Available immediately

The hours are 8:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
