Q - Are you looking to secure a SEN Teaching Assistant experience at a fantastic school?

An 'Good' SEN school in Lambeth is looking for a male SEN Teaching assistant to work alongside the class teachers with students with a range of SEN needs from: Autism (ASC), ADHD and PMLD.

This role will also involve you assisting with some personal care on a 1:1 basis with a male Year 8 boy, hence the requirement for a male SEN Teaching Assistant.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Male SEN Teaching Assistant - Across several year groups and 1:1 with a Year 8 male student
  • There is a personal care element to this role with Year 8 male student, hence the need for a male SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Focus on supporting children with: Autism (ASD), ADHD and Downs Syndrome
  • £70-£80 per day - ASAP - January 2019

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Must have a degree from a reputable University required (Psychology or related)
  • Previous SEN experience is desirable, but not essential - PMLD experience would be perfect!
  • Strong passion for SEN is required.
  • Must be highly dependable, empathetic and with a professional outlook
