Midday Meal Supervisor - Lewisham - Part-Time - 10am-2pm or 11am-1pm

Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a reliable and friendly Midday Meal Supervisor to join a welcoming school based in Lewisham, South East London.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time school hours, supporting pupils during lunchtime and helping to create a safe, positive and calm environment throughout the school day.

The school are open to candidates working either 10am-2pm or 11am-1pm, depending on availability and the needs of the school.

The Role:

• Supervising pupils during lunchtime and break periods
• Supporting children in the dining hall and playground
• Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners
• Helping pupils with routines, transitions and general support
• Ensuring pupils are safe, settled and well supervised
• Supporting children with additional needs where required
• Reporting any concerns to the relevant staff member
• Helping maintain a calm, clean and positive lunchtime environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children or young people
• Be friendly, patient and reliable
• Have strong communication skills
• Be confident supporting behaviour in a school setting
• Be able to work well as part of a team
• Be caring, professional and proactive
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
