LSA - Alternative Provision - Croydon South London

Remedy are looking for a suitable Learning Support Assistant to join a Pupil Referral Unit based in Croydon to start work straight away on a long term full time basis.

The purpose of this role is to support a Teacher in a classroom setting, supporting agreed learning activities in one of the core subjects. You will need to be able to support one on one as well as in a classroom. Some work may be carried out outside the classroom and main teaching area.

The pupils in this school do have some mental health issues so previous experience dealing with this is essential. The main focus is to get the pupils focused on their education and support them with learning.

You will need to be able to Support pupils consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs, encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively with others and engage all pupils in activities.

The school is based Croydon and has easy transport links, the staff are extremely supportive and welcoming.
