Our client London Borough of Newham is looking for a social worker to join their EDT MASH Service.

The Emergency Duty Service is a small team of Social Workers who are lone workers and responsible for out of hours referrals. They deliver an emergency social work service for the council every evening/overnight, weekends and bank holidays. There is only one Social Worker on duty at any one time and we are actively seeking an experienced worker to assist. The EDT Social Worker must have considerable experience in child protection work and safeguarding. The post sits in our MASH service. We provide you with a range of equipment to enable mobile working.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
