Remedy Education are seeking an English specialist to work in a mainstream secondary school based in Southwark.

You will be required to teach English Language and Literature up to GCSE level.

You will also be expected to oversee the development of literacy skills across the curriculum. In addition you will need to support the emotional and personal development of our young people. This could include the delivery of citizenship and themed lessons that have been planned for you.

We require an individual with Qualified Teacher Status who has experience of teaching English in a secondary setting. As many of our students are referred to us because they have social, emotional and/or behavioural issues you should have strong behaviour management skills.

This is a long term role at will be starting in September.
