Level 3 Teaching Assistant - EYFS (Nursery class)

Pay Rate: £70 - £85 per day

Are you an experienced Level 3 EYFS LSA or Teaching Assistant looking for a long term post?

Remedy Education are working in partnership with an 'Outstanding' Primary school close to the Lewisham area who are looking for an experienced L3 Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. You will be working in a Nursery class.

The role is full time, the working hours are 8:30-3:30 Monday-Friday. There is the possibility of a permanent contract after successfully competing a 3 month probationary period.

The school is 2 form-entry and they pride themselves on their experienced supportive team and their thorough and robust induction/training.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be supporting children of varying levels within the nursery class and when required will provide 1:1 support to children who have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language Needs etc
• Support the teacher and team to ensure children make excellent progress
• Have high expectations and an unwavering belief in the potential of every child
• Complete observations and assessments on your key children
• Have excellent early years curriculum knowledge
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills;

Required Skills & Experience:

• You must have previous experience supporting in an EYFS setting
• You must have a Level 3 CACHE qualification, NNEB, degree or equivalent
• If you have completed a CACHE qualification or have completed any volunteering Teaching Assistants posts, this may be a great opportunity and you must have at least 3 months school based experience in a UK Primary School setting
• PLEASE NOTE - candidates without a qualification but with extensive experience (paid or voluntary) are also welcome to apply, but you must be able to evidence a full class based role and provide examples of TA level responsibilities you have held.
