Learning Support Assistant - Southwark, South East London
If you are a Graduate who is passionate about pursuing a career within special educational needs (SEN) and have existing experience with SEN such as Autism (ASD/ASC), ADHD, Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) or Downs Syndrome then APPLY TODAY!!
Whether you are an existing Graduate LSA/SEN TA or a Graduate with volunteer or placement experience working with children who have SEN, we want to hear from you today.
Role:
- Support students with varying SEN - including ASD/ASC, dyslexia, ADHD, Downs Syndrome
- Work closely alongside the SENCO & class teacher to develop individual care plans (ICP)
- Effectively implement ICPs and support the learning and social development of the students within your care
- Provide whole-class general support
- Full time - ASAP start until the end of the academic year
- £70-£80 per day
Person:
- Previous experience is essential when applying to this position
- You must be confident in your behavioural management techniques
- A patient, resilient, adaptable, calm natured graduate
- You must be truly passionate about supporting students with SEN
- You must have a strong academic history and hold a 2:1 degree or above

- Modern and well-resourced primary school
- Inclusive - 3-11 years
- SEN Teaching Assistants are well supported and enrolled onto bespoke training courses
- Impressive transport links - tube stations very close by
