Learning Support Assistant (LSA) | Supporting a range of SEN

A fantastic SEN school located in the Epping Forest District are looking to appoint several Learning Support Assistants (LSA) ahead for an ASAP start.

This role will involve you working with SEN students throughout the School. The needs you will likely be supporting are; Dyslexia, Learning & Behaviour difficulties and mild Autism (ASD).

You will be working with pupils on a 1:1 basis, as well as working in the Learning Support Centre helping with Maths, English, Science and more activities. Lessons will be pre-planned with a clear outline of what's expected and where progress is supposed to be made.

This is a brilliant opportunity for either someone who is particularly interested in supporting SEN in an SEN setting, while also perfect for an aspiring Teacher who is looking to gain experience in an ahead of teacher training!

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
• Supporting a range of SEN: Dyslexia, Learning & Behavior difficulties and Autism (ASD)
• 1:1 or group support
• Additional training provided throughout
• Full Time - Long-Term role - Term Time Only
• £70 - £80 per day - Scope to increase after 12 working weeks
• PERSON SPECIFICATION

• University degree is required!
• You must be an outgoing, committed and a passionate individual
• Must be able to use your own initiative
• Good GCSEs and A-Levels are also required
