Job description

Learning & Behaviour Mentor - Southwark South East London

Remedy Education are currently looking for a very experienced Learning Mentor & Behaviour to work in an Alternate Provision that we work with based in Southwark, South East London

The Alternate Provision is a home for students that require Special Educational Needs - this could be students that have learning difficulties, have Social, Emotional or Mental Health Needs or excluded from mainstream schools.

Your role would be to work alongside a strong team of Learning Mentors within the provision and overlook learning for the students of the AP whilst trying to push the students to do the best that they can academically and help students into future career paths/ further education.

The role will be full-time, starting immediately and paying competitively. The role also offers great progression with staff often employed on a permanent role and pushed up through the AP as they look to employ for promotions internally.

Ideally you will ideally have a wealth of experience as a Learning Mentor/Behaviour Mentor (preferably experience in a leadership role) and experienced in assisting students with careers.

You will need an enhanced DBS to apply for this role.
