Our Client Lancashire County Council is looking for a social worker with experience of adult safeguarding and mental health. The post will be for 8-12 weeks working across the whole county carrying out S42 Safeguarding enquiries for adults with mental health problems within the Mental Health Safeguarding Team. You must have experience of carrying out capacity assessments. Experience of working with people with an Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder would be useful. At the moment the post will be mostly working from home due to continued covid restrictions within council buildings. However there will be some office working (in Accrington) and visits across the county. You will be required to have covid vaccinations and to complete Lateral Flow Tests twice a week. I am proposing to offer informal Teams interviews in October.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
