Job description

Remedy Education are recruiting on behalf of a small primary school in Waltham forest. The school caters for pupils aged 5 to 11 and has a reputation for providing high quality education, nurturing pupils to achieve their full potential.

We are seeking a teaching assistant to support a pupil who speaks Kurdish and can effectively support the transition of a pupil into the school.

This role would suit an individual who has an experience of EAL and wants to make a difference to the lives of young people. The right individual will understand the importance of creating a positive, learning environment for the pupil.

This is a long-term role where you will need to commit to the role 5 days per week.

The school requires individuals to have;

Teaching Assistant Qualification/Relevant NVQ in Care or Support
Spoken and written language skills of Kurdish dialect
Experience working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
Experience working in schools
Available immediately, full time.
Successful candidates will be required to hold, or apply for, an enhanced DBS and be subject to safeguarding and vetting checks.
