Bromley - KS2 Teacher - ASAP - September 2019

My School based in Bromley are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, passionate, inspiring and skilled teacher to take a Year 6 split class.

  • Be a consistently good or outstanding teacher
  • Have experience at subject leadership and improving standards across the school
  • Have experience of supporting others to improve teaching & learning
  • Have a passion and expertise for the teaching & learning of either Mathematics or English
  • Be skilled at building up positive & respectful relationships with children, parents & colleagues
  • Be an enthusiastic team player who is willing and able to share ideas and expertise
  • Be keen to develop their own teaching and try out new initiatives
  • Be an inspirational teacher who motivates all children to do their very best
  • Be committed to ensuring that every child may flourish and reach their full potential
  • DBS within a year

The job role:

You would be teaching half the class in the morning (approx. 12 children) for English, Maths and Reading and then intervention groups in the afternoon. One afternoon per week would be taking the whole of the Y6 class (25 children) and there would be one afternoon per week PPA. There would also be the possibility for some leadership responsibility for the right candidate.

Initially this would be a maternity cover until the end of the Summer Term although the school would also offer a permanent contract if the person wanted it.
