Our client, Knowsley Borough Council is looking for a Qualified Social Worker looking for a Head of Adult Social Care team.

Adult and Community Services including:

• Integrated Locality Teams
• Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
• Mental Health Services
• Learning Disability Services
• Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
• Client Property and Affairs Team
• Mental Health Services
• MASH Service
• Community Services (Learning Disabilities, Autism, Physical Disabilities and Older People Services)
• 14 to 25 Preparing for Adulthood Service
• Review Team
• Prevention Team
• Hospital Discharge Team
• Care Arrangers and Payments Service

Primary Role

• To provide dynamic leadership and strategic vision to drive forward the transformation agenda and to ensure positive outcomes for the communities and residents of Knowsley.
• To ensure the Service Area meets all current legislative, regulatory, professional and quality standards.
• To contribute to the Council's Senior Management Team on strategic and corporate issues.
• To deliver service improvements and efficiencies within the Council's agreed operational standards.
• To contribute to corporate and multi-agency working including the integration agenda for Social Care and Health.
• To act as lead representative to promote and coordinate services between the Council and Health for the benefit of the population of Knowsley.
• To act as advocate for the residents and communities of Knowsley, ensuring that their voice is heard and taken into account when developing strategies and delivering outcomes.
• Contribute to delivering the savings and efficiencies identified from Adult Social Care.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
Eligible to work in the UK
Atleast 1 year post qualifying experience
