Aspiring Primary Teacher required for a Year 6 SEN/Intervention Teaching Assistant post!

Are you seeking a Teaching Assistant opportunity that will not only help support a PGCE application but prepare you for teacher training?

Do you want to learn in a small and diverse inner London primary to get a realistic understanding of what it takes to become a Primary Teacher?

Prepare yourself in the best way possible by becoming a Year 6 Primary Teaching Assistant at this forward-thinking primary school.

You must possess some form of TA experience, ideally in KS2

POSITION: Primary Teaching Assistant / Graduate Teaching Assistant / Year 6 SEN / Intervention Teaching Assistant

PERSON: Must be a graduate with a 2.1 with a strong academic record and aspirations of becoming a primary teacher.

ROLE: Support a Year 6 class with high functioning SEN needs this will include social interventions

START: September - long term for the entire academic year.

PAY: £75 - £85 per day dependant on experience

YEAR 6 INTERVENTION/TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE:

Becoming a Teaching Assistant takes patience, perseverance and imagination. You will work with a broad range of ability levels primarily within Year 6 class. You will run intervention sessions with small groups of children allowing you to hone your teaching capabilities to support your future PGCE or School Direct application (Especially in Year 6!!). This is a long term, full time Teaching Assistant that will cover the entire academic year.
