Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking 2x Reviewing Officers for Bromley Council.

Ideally looking for someone who has experience in both the CP chair and IRO role, however would consider someone with experience in only one role, they have to have done one of the roles.


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Quality Improvement team in the London Borough of Bromley. In November 2018 Ofsted rated the overall effectiveness of our children's services as 'Good' with 'Outstanding' social work leadership. Every member of staff within children's services is a leader in their own right and we are committed to providing nothing less than an excellent service to all of our children. We are now entering Phase 3 of our Roadmap to Excellence and are seeking highly talented and ambitious people to join us.

We are keen to appoint 2 locum Reviewing Officer's who are committed to making a real difference for children and young people in the London Borough of Bromley. You will be responsible for preparing for and chairing looked after reviews for children and for identifying any issues that may be impacting on their welfare or preventing them from achieving permanence in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for chairing initial and review child protection conferences.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, be highly motivated, flexible, innovative and strong enough to challenge others when the needs of children are not being met so you need to be persistent and courageous.

Applicants need to be qualified social workers, have management experience within statutory children's social care, have current HCPC registration and a satisfactory DBS. A current full driving is essential.
