Our client is looking for a locum social worker to work in the Feltham Locality Team for older people and those with Physical and/or Sensory Needs.

Locality Teams manage long term cases, support carers, take new referrals from health colleagues and undertake safeguarding enquiries.

There is a focus on preventative services in Hounslow, looking to build resilience in communities and develop a stronger community for our citizens.
You will be supported by a strong management team to enable you to deliver a service that maximises our vulnerable resident's independence and protects and safeguards them.

Key responsibilities:
1. To undertake Care Act assessments, support planning and reviews.
2 To undertake safeguarding duties as an enquiry officer
3 Use a strength-based and preventative approach to your work and Social Work Intervention
4. Work as a duty officer within the team on a rotational basis, approx 3 days a fortnight


Essential for The Role

1 Social Work Qualification
2 Enhanced DBS check is required
3. Minimum 2 years post qualification experience
