SEND Teaching Assistant (Higher Level) - Lambeth, South West London

Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to start January 2019

Remedy Education are recruiting for brilliant primary school in Lambeth, seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. Our schools provide quality education for children within the local area, providing the foundations for their pupils' development towards GCSEs and A Levels. Teaching Assistants are vital to the overall learning and development of pupils at the school, tailoring their approach to optimise learning opportunities.

Person Specification - Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Lambeth, South West London

The successful High Level Teaching Assistant will be a recent university graduate or current postgraduate student; hold strong literacy and numeracy skills; a specialist in English, Mathematics or a Science subject; be enthusiastic, proactive and engaging; be able to provide effective support to all children under direction of the subject teachers, including those with special educational needs; be approachable to all pupils and act as a behavioural role model.

Experienced working with SEN is essentials.

Successful Applicants will be subject to references and an up to date DBS with update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS.
