Remedy Education are looking for a HLTA/Learning Mentor who is available now until the end of the academic year which has the potential of becoming a permanent role.

This is a great opportunity for a HLTA or newly qualified teacher wanting to develop their teaching skills whilst working in a supportive environment. To be successful you must be able to demonstrate:
excellent communication skills;
the ability to relate to and engage with a wide range of pupils;
great organisational skills;
high standards in terms of achievement and behaviour.

You will be required to work as a Learning Mentor, taking booster groups of pupils to help overcome barriers to learning and also cover classes in the absence of the Class Teacher, including unplanned absence and/or planned absence due to the allocation of PPA time. You will work alongside the Class Teachers to plan and teach exciting and engaging learning opportunities. The HLTA/ Learning Mentor who is successful will work across all classes gaining invaluable experience and become an integral part of the school community. The role is five days a week in term time and will initially be on a supply basis with the opportunity to becoming a permanent role.
