Head of SEND Assessment and Review Service, West London, £66,228-£70,371pa

If you have proven experience in leading and managing a statutory children's team, we want to hear from you.

This is a permanent position and our client will be shortlisting in early March.

Main duties include:

  • Lead on the review, development and implementation of robust and efficient quality assurance systems to secure the quality and timeliness of assessment and plans in meeting the needs of children and young people.
  • Develop effective and targeted systems of gathering the voices of children, young people, parents and carers so that they are active partners in developing services.
  • Provide briefings to Children's Services Leadership Team to support strategic planning and management of risk.

Essential requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification in Education, Health or Social Care.
  • HCPC registration as a Social Worker
  • Evidence of managing and leading a successful service or large department.
  • Multi agency working including building strong and positive relationships with Schools.
