Graduate requirements
- B/C grade in GSCE Maths, Science and English
- Strong A levels
- 2:1 in chosen degree (Social Science preferred)
- A genuine aspiration to want to work with SEN/ Mental Health is the most important element!
About the SEMH Teaching Assistant Role
- Working with a range of SEN children, mainly 1:1. Autism, EBD and Mental Health, ideal staging for SEMH Teaching Assistant
- Previous experience in similar roles to SEMH Teaching Assistant would be an advantage yet not essential
- Main role is as a SEMH Teaching Assistant, could potentially be some mainstream Teaching Assistant work to give you the full range of experience!
