To be considered for this Graduate Teaching Assistant opportunity you must have the following:
1st or 2:1 degree - Russell Group (preferable) in a core related subject
A passion to support others

• Prior school, education or tutoring experience would be preferred

This core subject graduate teaching assistant role would see you working under the guidance of the schools department heads, to support pupils in and out of the classroom. You should be able to display good communication skills as within this teaching assistant role you will have to liaise between both students and class teachers, have a patient manner and be proactive within the classroom. You will be working with those students who may be under performing or may have mild to severe special educational needs (SEN).

It would be advantageous if you have a core subject degree (English, maths, science or humanities) from a Russell Group University and have earnt a 1st or 2:1. A passion to support others and a strong knowledge in your specialist subject are vital ingredients.
