Remedy Education is seeking Teaching Assistants who have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs to join a team in the Lambeth area.

The School & Teaching Assistant Jobs:

• A special needs setting with small class sizes
• Modernised department and equipment for the ideal Special Needs teaching environment
• Working with year groups in Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2 supporting students on a one to one basis in the classroom to ensure academic progress
• Liaising with teachers and other Teaching Assistants to ensure the best care possible is being provided as well as external agencies and other providers such as speech & language therapists and physiotherapists
• Understanding and working to each student's EHCPs
• Starting full time in January 2018
• Easily accessible via public transport

The successful Special Needs Teacher will:

• Have a current and clear DBS (or be willing to process one)
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Experienced in working with Autism/Mild Learning Difficulties/Emotional Behavioural Difficulties/Dyslexia or any other special needs
• Adhere to the school's ethos of maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere
• Be able to use own initiative and work as part of a successful team
• Good Maths and English skills
