Remedy Education are working with a lovely 3 form entry primary school with great transport links and state of the art facilities, having just refurbished their whole school! They're looking for a bright and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team in January 2018 and become part of their story.

The school is located right next to Oval Station, in the London Borough of Lambeth and is very involved with the wider community, they are proud with the continuous support they provide not only the school but to families from the local area.

You will primarily be supporting a Year 2 or 5 class but also required to assist students with mild learning difficulties on a one to one basis and in small group activities. This is an inclusive school that promotes everyone working together, therefore Teaching Assistants will be asked to support across the class with higher achieving and lower achieving children. You will be working alongside a lovely teacher with over 6 years' experience and closely with the school SENCO, reporting on students progression as and when needed. As the teaching assistant you will gaining the relevant curriculum experience that will allow you to gain as much knowledge as possible, should you want to become a teacher at a later date. The school have a very high turnover for teaching assistants that want to become teachers as they provide their own teacher training programmes.

Teaching Assistant role:

Any successful Teaching Assistant will need to provide contact details for at least 2 recent references, complete a DBS check through New Formation (if you don't already have a valid DBS registered to the update service) and have proof of 'right to work' in the UK.
